Welcome to Marshall Orthopedics, formerly Western Sierra Orthopedic Center, established in 1990 in Placerville. Our five excellent surgeons have over 50 years combined experience and offer the full range of orthopedic care. Our surgeons are Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Our Physicians

  Stephen Cyphers, MD, has been in practice in the Placerville area since 1987. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1982 and completed his residency through Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Cyphers completed a foot and ankle fellowship at Harborview Medical Center through the University of Washington, in 1988. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
  Troy Dickson, MD, earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 2000 and completed his residency through Loma Linda Medical Center in 2005. Dr. Dickson maintains a commitment to general orthopedic surgery, including knee, hip and shoulder replacement. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
  Chris Molitor, MD, has been in practice since 1992. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1985 and completed his residency through Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1990. He completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center through University of California, Irvine in 1991. Dr. Molitor is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
  Taylor Vance, MD, is a long-time resident of the area, having graduated from Ponderosa High School and UC Davis. Dr. Vance earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Temple University in Philadelphia and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Los Angeles Orthopedic Institute in Sherman Oaks, CA. Dr. Vance is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
  Brandon Beamer, MD, Brandon Beamer, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon caring for patients with orthopedic surgical needs. Dr. Beamer is a native of RocklinCA. After graduating valedictorian from Rocklin High, he pursued his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and then went on to Cornell University Medical School.
