BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP (HOOTERS) – This monthly support group for women with breast cancer is led by breast cancer survivors. Contact Faye Alexander – 530-620-3436 or “Charlie” Hall – 530-644-3963 for meeting time and location.

GENTLE YOGA - Whether you are a Yoga fanatic or new to the ar, this class is for you. Join us every Thursday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. to enhance your spiritual, emotional and physical well-being through the gentle art of yoga. Reservations recommended. Family, friends and caregivers welcome. 
     
I CAN COPE – The American Cancer Society offers a free monthly telephone conference on different cancer related topics. LOOK GOOD, FEEL BETTER – Designed for women going through chemotherapy, this single session helps women enhance their appearance with makeup, scarves, wigs, and turbans. Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 1:00-3:00pm at the Marshall Cancer Resource Center, located at 3581 Palmer Drive #202 in Cameron Park.  Contact the Marshall Cancer Resource Center at 530-672-7050 to register.

LYMPHEDEMA EDUCATION CLASS - Did you have lymph nodes removed during surgery for treatment of your cancer? Have you received radiation treatments to your lymph nodes?  If so, you may at risk for developing a treatable condition known as LYMPHEDEMA. Please attend this free, one time education class to learn about the signs to look for and the steps to take to reduce your risk. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:00pm at the Marshall Cancer Resource Center, located at 3581 Palmer Drive # 202 in Cameron Park. Call 530-672-7050 to reserve your spot. OSTOMY SUPPORT GROUP – A monthly support group for people living with ostomies. Meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from 1:00-3:00pm at the Marshall Cancer Resource Center, located at 3581 Palmer Drive #202 in Cameron Park. PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP – Led by a prostate cancer survivor, this group is specifically designed to provide information and support to men with prostate cancer. Meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 3:00-4:30 pm at the Marshall Cancer Resource Center, located at 3581 Palmer Drive, #202 in Cameron Park. SEASONED SURVIVORS GENERAL CANCER SUPPORT GROUP – Meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM in El Dorado Hills. Contact Mary Sullivan at 916-939-2417 or e-mail her at sullivan2458@sbcglobal.net for information and directions to the meeting place.

SURVIVORSHIP SUPPORT GROUP – A survivor is defined as someone who perseveres despite hardships, which includes anyone on the cancer continuum. Please join us on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 4:00-5:30 pm and find out what survivorship means to you. Reservations recommended. Family, friends and caregivers welcome.
