Recent location changes are bringing welcomed comfort and convenience improvements for Marshall Medical Center and the communities it serves.

Over the last few weeks, two of Marshall’s physician clinics have moved into new and improved locations. “These recent moves reflect our investment in our community and our desire to continue making our offices more modern and comfortable for our patients,” says Rick Vance, who heads up Marshall’s Physician Clinic Services.

The first big move brought together Marshall’s three Placerville-based OB/GYN physicians, Michele Cherry, DO, Kenneth Nelson, MD & Michael Jones, MD. They’re now located on the second floor at 1095 Marshall Way in Placerville, rather than in separate offices. “It’s a beautiful new office, right across from the hospital, and having the physicians together allows us to provide more seamless patient care,” Rick says. During the transition, nurse practitioner Pam Mello relocated to OB/GYN office in Cameron Park.

Marshall Pediatrics also has moved, now located at 4341 Golden Center Drive in Placerville. “This brand new office is about as good as it can get,” Rick says. “It’s modern and comfortable, with plenty of kid-friendly activities to keep waiting time fun, and we believe our patients, and their parents are going to love it.” Adding to the comfort level, Marshall hired its own employee and local artist, Llana Shaver, to paint special themes in the patient rooms, just like at the old office. “They were so popular that patients used to request a different room for each visit just so they could see the theme,” Rick adds.
