Patient Education
Your physician and hospital staff will
explain your condition and treatments. Numerous handouts, fact
sheets, articles, books and videos are available for your nurse, dietician
or therapist.
Chapel and Chaplain Services
A chapel is available for quiet prayer,
worship and meditation for patients, their families, hospital staff and
volunteers. The chapel is located on the first floor by the
patient/visitor elevators. Marshall Hospital, Snowline Hospice, and
the local ministerial association provide the services of clergy to
patients and their families. Make your wishes known to your nurse
and arrangements will be made for a visit, or you can call the hospital
chaplain at (530) 626-2756 and leave a message.
Auxiliary and Volunteers
Marshall Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer
organization dedicated to aiding Marshall's patients and their families
with a special touch of caring. Auxiliary members are trained to
work throughout the hospital. Junior volunteers, ages 14-21, are
also on hand to lend help where needed.
