About Erick Pecha

Erick Pecha, MD, attended the University of Tennessee medical school on full scholarship after securing the Dean’s Medal in Arts and Sciences from the University of San Francisco while completing his biochemistry degree. Inducted into the medical school honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha, he completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. He has published original research on giant ulcers, suture complications, and authored a book chapter on abdominal pain.

He is married, has six children, and enjoys movies, woodworking, non-fiction books and Shakespeare.
