A lifetime Californian, Alice Phillips Perez, FNP (family nurse practitioner) received her BS degree for California State University, Sacramento in 1977 and then received her Masters of Science, Nursing degree from the University of California, San Francisco. 

She is a credentialed California Community College instructor for health services and has taught Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants for the University of California, Davis and the University Phoenix. She has worked in private practice with several local physicians over the past 20 years.
