Spiritual Care and Support Groups

Marshall Chapel and Chaplain services provide an outlet for the spiritual and emotional needs you may face during a loved one's illness.

An illness requiring a hospital stay may be a time of uncertainty, doubt or caution for you. You may find yourself exposed to unfamiliar pharmaceutical items, medical terms, and therapeutic techniques. As members of the pastoral care staff we are interested in our patients' wellness and recovery as well as support for family and loved ones.

Our philosophy is to reach out, help identify concerns and offer  assistance and support in times of need. Topics we can help with include:
• Building relationships
• Offer a listening ear and supportive arm
• Building a safe environment
• Praying together
• Reducing fears or anxiety
• Helping you find answers
• Reading scripture
• Resolving conflict
• Devotional aids
• Sacraments

Let a nurse or doctor know if you desire a visit from a chaplain.
Sincerely,
Chaplain Tim Thompson, D.Min
