Commission on Cancer Accreditation
Being Accredited with Commendation by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and
the American College of Surgeons means that Marshall's program has
been rigorously evaluated by a physician auditor to ensure that our program
meets or exceeds the high standards established by the CoC.
This accreditation means you can expect care of the highest quality in
our program. We've met each criteria from the CoC post-mastectomy
radiation, breast radiation after breast conserving surgery and combination
chemotherapy for hormone receptor negative breast cancer.

Comprehensive services: A combination of the Hematology/Oncology clinic
and the Cancer Resource Center
A life-altering illness deserves the most comprehensive care possible.
Accredited by both the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) and Commission
on Cancer (CoC), Marshall Hematology/Oncology offers a broad range of
cancer-fighting services – expert physicians, an infusion center,
and a certified (USP 800 compliant) oncology pharmacy – under one
roof. Ours is El Dorado County’s patient-centered cancer treatment
hub, where doctors remain on-call 24 hours per-day and provide referrals
to specialists nationwide. Our staff includes two board certified hematology/oncology
physicians, in addition to two oncology certified nurses. Patients also
benefit from a Marshall Cancer Resource Center staff of patient navigators,
registered dietitians, in addition to a social worker. For patients and
their families who feel isolated, our team is here to help.
