Gerardo Galang, MD, is a board certified internal medicine physician. Prior
to joining Marshall Medical Center, he lived in Moanalua, Hawaii, where
he served as a hospitalist in the Internal Medicine Department at Hawaii
Permanente Medical Group.
Dr. Galang received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of
East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Quezon City, Philippines.
He did his internal medicine residency at Atlantic Regional Medical Center
in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He finished a fellowship in geriatrics at
the University of Hawaii.
He has given numerous health lectures on subjects such as hypertension,
diabetes, exercise, etc. Dr. Galang has also provided free medical check-ups
and counseling for the underprivileged and homeless. He is fluent in English
