Marshall Gastroenterology’s newest addition brings no shortage of
familiarity with the Marshall community. Mark Redor, MD, has had privileges
at Marshall Hospital for many years. He arrives from Gastroenterology
Medical Clinic, which has offices in Folsom and Placerville.
Raised in San Francisco and the son of a surgeon, Dr. Redor earned his
undergraduate degree at UC Davis. He received a medical degree from Vanderbilt
before completing his internal medicine residency at San Francisco’s
Kaiser Foundation Hospital. After a short stint as an emergency department
physician in San Francisco, he went on to complete his gastroenterology
and hepatology fellowship at the University of Arizona Medical Center
Dr. Redor offers treatment for a wide spectrum of diseases of the digestive
system such as peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease and
inflammatory bowel disease. He also has an interest in treating various
disorders of the liver, including viral hepatitis.
Dr. Redor loves to spend his free time outdoors. His winter love (skiing)
complements activities like golf, backpacking, wakeboarding and mountain
biking. Dr. Redor speaks fluent French and is married with three children.
