Vickie Crosby, RN, FNP, provides care to patients of all ages. Board Certified
by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), she owns skills
in many clinical areas: diagnostic testing interpretation, female health
exams and minor skin surgery and among them.
Vickie received her license as a practical nurse in Arizona, before going
on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing – and subsequently
her master’s degree – from Oregon Health Sciences University
She has since served patients over three decades in roles ranging from
rheumatology clinic care to home health and general family care. Vickie
also assists in Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) trials
and other pain management treatments.
Vickie relocated to El Dorado County from Hawaii, where she co-founded
and served as the sole provider of a full-service clinic. The ages of
her patients ranged from two days to 97 years old. She was recognized
in 2012 as the top nurse practitioner in Hawaii, earning the AANP State
Award for Excellence.
In her leisure time, Vickie enjoys quilting and many forms of arts and
crafts. She teaches Sunday School to children at a local church. Vickie
is married with two adult children and a grandchild.
