Lin Soe, MD, has been providing care at Marshall since 1997. Originally
from Burma, Dr. Soe relocated to the United States following medical training,
including post-graduate research work, in his native country.
He then earned a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine degree
from Tulane University in Louisiana. He completed his residency in Internal
Medicine at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, Cornell University;
and his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at University of California, Davis.
Dr. Soe is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology &
Hematology. He has participated in many cancer research studies and co-authored
numerous research papers. Additionally Dr. Soe is the recipient of several
awards for his research, as well as the 2000 Hero in Healthcare Award
from Marshall Medical Center and El Dorado County.
Dr. Soe enjoys hiking, martial arts and jogging. He speaks English and Burmese.
