About Mamatha Siricilla

Dr. Mamatha Siricilla, MD, joined Marshall Hematology & Oncology in 2017 after completing her fellowship in hematology & oncology at MD Anderson at Cooper Cancer Center in Camden, N.J.

Originally from India, she moved to the United States after completing medical school. Dr. Siricilla completed her Internal medicine residency at the UAB Montgomery Health Center in 2013. She earned her first fellowship in General internal medicine, from the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. “It has been a long and rewarding journey,” she said.

Dr. Siricilla is board certified in Hematology and Oncology, and specializes in treating various types of blood disorders and cancers such as breast, lung, gastrointestinal and genitourinary malignancies.

She believes the art of medicine lies in caring for patients and their loved ones with open communication and empathy. She believes in patient-centered care and willingness to go extra mile to offer the best possible treatment. ”I am also keen on staying on the top of things whether it is in patient care or advancements in cancer treatments,” she added.

Outside of practice, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Other hobbies include running, gardening and traveling.
