About Anne Marie Woodward, MD

Anne Marie Woodward, MD, earned a bachelor’s degree with a triple major in biology, biochemistry, and chemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

She is a political advocate for women’s healthcare at both the state and federal level. She initiated and fought for a Colorado law to eliminate the statute of limitations in civil cases of sexual assault. She wants to empower women to live their best lives possible: medically, emotionally, and spiritually. She also started a gynecologic clinic in the community of Littleton, Colorado, for the medically underserved.

Dr. Woodward enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level as well as performing surgery. She loves caring for patients from the newborn age through all their stages of life.

Dr. Woodward was born in Sacramento but moved to Colorado where she has spent most of her life. When she’s not at work, she enjoys hiking, biking, dancing, and art. She loves to explore, go on adventures, and attend outdoor concerts. She’s also active in her church.
