About Brandon Beamer
Brandon Beamer, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon caring for patients with orthopedic
surgical needs. Dr. Beamer is a native of Rocklin, CA. After graduating
valedictorian from Rocklin High, he pursued his undergraduate degree at
UC Berkeley and then went on to Cornell University Medical School. Dr.
Beamer then completed his residency at Harvard Orthopedic Residency Program.
He operated and honed his skills at the nation’s top hospitals,
including Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Following completion of his medical training, Dr. Beamer began his journey
home to California. He was accepted as a clinical fellow at Stanford,
where he specialized in orthopedic sports medicine and was also assistant
team physician for Stanford University Athletics as well as the San Francisco 49ers.
Dr. Beamer performs many leading edge and innovative orthopedic procedures,
using minimally invasive techniques. He is one of the only surgeons in
Northern California who is fellowship trained to perform hip arthroscopy.
He also performs advanced shoulder and knee arthroscopy and cartilage
replacement procedures, in addition to knee, shoulder and hip replacements.
Dr. Beamer is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
(AAOS), American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the
Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). It has always been Dr.
Beamer’s goal to bring world-class training and expertise back to
the Sacramento area that he calls home.
In his leisure time, Dr. Beamer enjoys spending time with his wife, Christy,
and their children. They enjoy offshore fishing, snow skiing, boating,
traveling, and camping. Practicing in the Sacramento area is well suited
for his active lifestyle, and he recognizes firsthand how important it
is to his patients to maintain their lifestyle and recover quickly to
get back to doing what they love.
