About Tracy Harris

Tracy Harris is a family nurse practitioner with Marshall Sierra Primary Medicine in Placerville. Tracy treats patients of all ages and supports Pete Barba, MD. She began her medical career as a registered nurse after receiving her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Cal State Chico. She went on to earn her Master of Science in nursing and certification as a nurse practitioner from Western University of Health Sciences.

Tracy worked for many years as a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner in Chico before moving to the Placerville area. She has comprehensive experience caring for children and adults, ranging from wellness and routine exams to treatment of chronic illnesses and acute care. While living in Chico she raised two daughters and was a member of a women’s triathlon group. She is married to her husband Terry, a teacher in El Dorado Hills. They enjoy hiking, back-packing and snowshoeing.
