About Nigah Patel

Nigah Patel, FNP-BC-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner caring for patients at Marshall’s Family Medicine practice in Cameron Park. With experience in internal medicine, family practice and pediatrics, her areas of focus include preventative care and counseling, education, diagnosis and treatment in the primary care environment. Nigah's practice is grounded in patient-centered care, where her patients always come first.

Growing up in Cameron Park, Nigah volunteered at Marshall as a teenager, dreaming of returning one day to care for her community. She attended the University of California at Riverside before receiving both her Bachelor (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois. Nigah is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who has worked both as a charge nurse and RN supervisor/admissions nurse, placing her at various points along the care continuum from admissions to emergency care. She believes a holistic approach to care is always beneficial to the patient.

Nigah is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking, painting and spending time with family.
