We have five locations to conveniently care for you, including our new state-of-the-art healthcare facility in El Dorado Hills. With same-day appointments, onsite diagnostic imaging, and a lab draw station, we look forward to providing best-in-class service and exceptional care, all in one convenient location.

  • Marshall OB/GYN is a women's health practice within Marshall, dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care for women at every stage of life. The team includes board-certified physicians, certified nurse midwives, and women's health nurse practitioners, all focused on preventive health and personalized care.

  • The practice offers a full spectrum of women's health services, including:

  • OB/GYN physicians are medical doctors who provide both obstetric and gynecological care, including surgical procedures. Certified nurse midwives at Marshall are registered nurses with a master's degree in midwifery and national certification. They are licensed to provide full maternity and well-woman care and tend to focus on a holistic, woman-centered approach to pregnancy and birth with an emphasis on emotional and social support alongside medical care. Both deliver at Marshall Birth Center.

  • Contact Marshall OB/GYN to schedule your first prenatal appointment as early as possible. You can also download and complete the Pregnancy History Form (also available in Spanish) ahead of your visit to help streamline your intake.

  • Expectant mothers seen by a Marshall OB or nurse midwife will deliver at the Marshall Birth Center in Placerville — one of the newest and most advanced birth centers in the region. The facility features private suites with ample space and amenities for a comfortable, supported experience.

  • The da Vinci® robotic-assisted surgical system allows Marshall surgeons to perform minimally invasive procedures with greater precision and control. It is used for hysterectomies, fibroid tumor removal, treatment of endometriosis, and adhesion procedures. Compared to traditional open surgery, robotic-assisted techniques typically result in less pain, smaller incisions, reduced risk of complications, and faster recovery times.

  • Yes. Marshall OB/GYN provides care across the full range of women's health needs, including menstrual disorder treatment, hormone replacement therapy, contraception, pelvic floor disorder treatment, and urinary incontinence — regardless of whether a patient is pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

  • The team includes board certified providers and certified nurse midwives. You can view all providers and filter by specialty on the Marshall website.
  • Our OB/GYN practice uses a team-based approach to your prenatal care. Providers rotate through clinic, labor and delivery, surgeries, and on-call schedules to ensure that you receive consistent, high-quality care, when and where you need it at Marshall.

  • Yes. MyChart allows patients to message their care team, request appointments, view test results, and access medical records — all in one secure online portal.

  • Marshall's Pediatrics team in Placerville is available to provide ongoing care for your newborn from infancy through age 18, offering a seamless transition from delivery to long-term child health services.
