Funding Programs that Care for People

Charitable giving is an important tradition for many people. Making gifts for the benefit of others offers a wonderful way to affirm your values and priorities.

Financial support from individuals, families, foundations and organizations is essential to maintain Marshall Foundation’s ability to fund programs and services that care for people. Through the community’s generosity, Marshall Foundation has maintained superior support for patient care and state-of-the-art healthcare facilities and equipment for over 45 years.

Honoring a loved one through charitable gifts is often an especially meaningful act of paying tribute to someone special, while assuring worthwhile values continue to influence the world around us.

Cash Gifts
This is the easiest and most convenient way to support the Marshall Medical Center and Community Health. Simply make checks payable to the Marshall Foundation.

Memorial Gifts
Allow you to thoughtfully remember family members and friends who have been such a vital part of your life.

Annual Giving Club
Join the Club, “Save A Life!”  Marshall Foundation just launched their new Together We Can….."Save A Life Club" to celebrate Heart Health.  The purpose of the club is to provide a fun, interactive format (including bi-annual luncheons, tours, the Healthy Bites eNews, and more!) for donors who pledge a $1 a day for one year to "Save a Life."     The funds raised from this project will benefit heart health at Marshall Medical Center including Cardiac Rehab and the Cardiology Department needs as well as community education on Heart Healthy and obesity.   So PASS THE WORD about how our healthcare professionals, seniors, Gen X or anyone in our community who wants to make a difference can.  Payroll deductions for Marshall Employees are available, so Together We Can…..“Save a Life!”

Gifts For Every Occasion
Made in honor of family and friends at times such as Mother’s Day or Father’s Day; at the birth of a child or grandchild; or on a birthday, wedding anniversary, or other notable occasion can be gifts of love that show how much you care.

Securities
Gifts of marketable securities can afford donors considerable tax advantages. In most cases, the full market value of the stock can be deducted as a charitable contribution. Contact us for further information on making a gift of appreciated securities.

Charitable Deferred Gift Trusts
Trusts such as unitrusts can be established to provide life income for donors. A donor may also create a lead trust, which provides an income stream to the Foundation for a period of years, with the remainder interest reverting to beneficiaries, such as family members. Marshall Foundation encourages donors to consult their attorneys and other advisors concerning the details of their gifts. Contact us

Bequests
A will is an important part of any family's financial plan. Donors may make a gift by bequest in their will. After providing for relatives and friends, an individual may stipulate that some or all of the remaining assets be given to the Marshall Foundation, providing a lasting legacy and reducing the taxable portion of an estate. Contact us for further information on bequests.

Matching Grants
If you work for a company that has a matching gift program, you may double the strength of your gift. Many companies have these programs and we encourage you to check with yours. Matching grants can make a dramatic impact on patient care. Contact us for further information on matching grants.
