About Lillian Morris

Lillian Morris, MD joined Marshall OB/GYN as Site Medical Director in October 2025. After 14 years in private practice in the Los Angeles area, she became an OB/GYN hospitalist in 2015, at both MLK Community Hospital in south LA and California Hospital in downtown LA. Currently, she serves as a Medical Market Director, overseeing several hospitals in California and New Mexico, and supporting the site directors there.

In joining Marshall, Dr. Morris returned to full-scope obstetrics and gynecology. She believes in treating the patient, not the problem. Dr. Morris is passionate about women’s health, finding it incredibly rewarding not only to help pregnant women bring new life into this world, but to help patients navigate through all phases of life—from puberty, to building a family, to menopause, and beyond. Her particular interest is in high-risk obstetrics, caring for pregnant women with medical conditions including diabetes or high blood pressure, treating preterm labor, or managing obstetric emergencies where every second counts.

Dr. Morris received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, a master’s in health informatics from Northwestern University, and attended Northwestern University Medical School before graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with her Doctor of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, receiving her certification in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2004.

Dr. Morris is fluent in Spanish. Outside of the office, she is an Orangetheory Fitness fanatic and a self-described “crazy cat lady” who also loves Afro-Brazilian dance, reading romantasy novels, and completing the New York Times puzzles every day. She is married with three grown sons, and her husband is the Chair of head and neck surgery at UCLA.
