Construction at Marshall: New Emergency Drop Off Location

Marshall has begun construction on the parking lot and walkways around the Emergency Department drop off location to improve patient safety. During construction, patients may enter the round about driveway for drop off and enter through the South Wing lobby. Registration is set up in the South Wing lobby to receive patients as they enter and after registering, they will proceed to the emergency waiting room.

“We appreciate the patience of the community and apologize for any inconvenience while we improve our Emergency Department drop off for safety,” says Scott Hall, RN, BSN, Assistant Director of Emergency Services at Marshall.

Marshall is an independent, nonprofit community healthcare provider located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills. Marshall includes Marshall Hospital, a fully accredited acute care facility with 125 beds in Placerville; several outpatient facilities in Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills and Georgetown; and many community health and education programs. Marshall has over 200 licensed practitioners and over 1,600 employees providing quality healthcare services to over 180,000 residents of El Dorado County.
