Marshall Family Medicine welcomes Emilie Riddle, MD, as its newest physician.
She arrives from Cookeville, Tenn., where she owned a family practice
and served as medical director of a homecare agency.
A 2001 graduate of Louisiana State University (Bachelor of Science in Biological
Sciences), Dr. Riddle earned a medical degree from Loma Linda University
in 2007. In 2010 she completed her residency in family medicine from St
Vincent’s East in Birmingham, Ala.
Dr. Riddle specializes in women’s health while also administering
joint injections and skin procedures. Professional affiliations include
the American Academy of Family Physicians.
She has fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming a medical doctor “so
I can help others enjoy a healthy life.” Dr. Riddle says she progresses
in her career by learning from fellow physicians and listening to her
Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities like camping and off-roading
with husband Erik. Dr. Riddle takes pride in her Christian faith. She
spent three years seeing underserved patients at a free clinic in Birmingham
and four years volunteering for a church youth group in Tennessee.
