Taylor Vance, MD

About Taylor Vance

Taylor Vance, MD, is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in a broad range of orthopedics and sports medicine procedures. He performs hip and knee replacements, in addition to hand surgeries. His practice includes general orthopedics. 

Dr. Vance is a long-time resident of the area, having graduated from Ponderosa High School and UC Davis. Dr. Vance earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Temple University in Philadelphia and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Institute in Sherman Oaks.

 With each patient, Dr. Vance says his goal is to not only perform a successful surgery, but to also improve a patient’s quality of life. 

Dr. Vance and his wife, Karen, have two daughters. He enjoys traveling, working on his race car, learning to play guitar, and photography. 

He has served as team physician for Ponderosa High School's football team for over fifteen years and takes care of athletes from high school students to weekend warriors.
