Taylor Vance, MD, is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery. He specializes in a broad range of orthopedics and sports medicine
procedures. He performs hip and knee replacements, in addition to hand
surgeries. His practice includes general orthopedics.
Dr. Vance is a long-time resident of the area, having graduated from Ponderosa
High School and UC Davis. Dr. Vance earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania
State University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Temple University
in Philadelphia and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic
Institute in Sherman Oaks.
With each patient, Dr. Vance says his goal is to not only perform a successful
surgery, but to also improve a patient’s quality of life.
Dr. Vance and his wife, Karen, have two daughters. His free time includes
as many home improvement and care maintenance projects as possible, in
addition to camping trips. He has served as a team physician for Ponderosa
High School’s football team – where he played with current
Green Bay Packers assistant coach James Campen – for many years.
