About Christopher Molitor

Christopher Molitor, MD, has been in practice in the Placerville area since 1992. Originally from Southern California, he completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1985. After a general internship, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1990.

He completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center through the University of California, Irvine in 1991. Dr. Molitor is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

His practice includes general orthopedics including total knee replacement, anterior hip replacement, shoulder replacement as well as fracture care. He specializes in the operative care of adult degenerative spinal conditions.

Professional affiliations include the American Medical Association and the Californian Medical association. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr Molitor is married and has four children. An El Dorado Hills resident, He enjoys gardening, golf and woodworking.
