About Daming Zhu
Daming Zhu, MD, PhD, is a board-certified cardiologist caring for patients at Marshall Cardiology in Placerville and Cameron Park. Dr. Zhu received his medical degree from China Medical University and his PhD from Peking Union Medical College/Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Zhu is also board-certified in Adult Echocardiography (NBE), Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC), Cardiac CT (CBCCT), and Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Dr. Zhu completed his internal medicine residency training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and cardiology fellowship training at Jefferson Medical College/Christiana Care Health System.
In his schooling and training, he performed extensive research in lipid metabolism and published many studies in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to general cardiology care, Dr. Zhu’s special interests include lipid disorders, preventive cardiology, stress-induced cardiomyopathy, and cardiac imaging. In addition, he is also proficient in performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
In his leisure time, Dr. Zhu enjoys sporting activities, such as table tennis, tennis, and basketball, as well as spending time with his wife and three children.
