Delandy McConnell, MD

About Delandy McConnell

Dr. McConnell earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in general surgery at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Jefferson University Hospital. She then went on to complete her fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

A decorated member of the United States Army, Dr. McConnell rose through the ranks to become a Major in 2011, supervising administrative, communication, and technical support to thousands of soldiers. She has also conducted and published multiple research papers in peer reviewed journals focusing on immune response.

When she is not working, Dr. McConnell enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, scuba diving and snow-sports.
