About Jaya George
Jaya George, FNP, is a board certified family nurse practitioner caring
for patients of all ages at Marshall Family & Internal Medicine in
Cameron Park.
Jaya first became a registered nurse in her native India before moving
to the United States and eventually earning her graduate degree in nursing
to become a nurse practitioner. She moved to Folsom from Texas over a
decade ago.
During her time as a nurse practitioner, Jaya has provided comprehensive
primary care, treated chronic and acute illnesses, counseled patients
in healthy lifestyle choices and performed various minor procedures.
Jaya approaches her practice with a caring and compassionate demeanor
and truly loves providing care to the community. She takes pride in treating
each patient with respect and listening to their concerns.
When she’s not working, Jaya enjoys reading, traveling and hiking.
She is married and a mother of three.
