About Jessica Dillon

Jessica Dillon, MSN, RN, NP-BC, joined Marshall's Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice in 2024, caring for patients in the clinic, hospital, and operating room. Of particular interest to Jessica are issues related to the hands and upper extremities, but her work at Marshall provides the opportunity to deliver care across the spectrum of orthopedic specialties.

Jessica cares deeply for her patients, which is evident in the time she spends with each individual, listening, educating, and answering questions to ensure her patients feel they have the information they need. She believes each patient should have the opportunity to understand any concern they bring to the table. Education is key.

Jessica graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Master of Science in Nursing and board certification as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. During the last two years of the program, she worked concurrently as an emergency room nurse, which provided a great deal of experience that helped mold her into the provider she is today.

After moving to Northern California, Jessica continued working as an emergency room nurse before joining Sutter Health as an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner. At the start of the pandemic, she returned to emergency medicine to better serve the community and remained there until accepting a position at UC Davis in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.

Outside of her practice, music is a significant part of Jessica’s life. She DJs, produces electronic music, and has sung and played piano since the age of five. She speak French and Spanish, and has traveled the world, living abroad in France and Spain. She enjoys cycling, hiking, backpacking, and Bikram yoga.
