About Naomi Vega
Naomi Vega, Au.D. joined Marshall Hearing in 2025. Because the field of audiology treats invisible issues that patients face daily, like hearing loss and dizziness, Dr. Vega enjoys making her patients feel seen, heard, and validated in their struggles. Her patients' feedback is of utmost importance to her so that she can make decisions specifically tailored to their needs. Dr. Vega encourages family members (spouses, children, parents, etc.) to attend appointments so that she can answer questions for everyone involved in the process.
Dr. Vega has a strong interest in helping dizzy patients through vestibular testing and rehabilitation and thrives on returning a sense of normalcy to her patients. Successful hearing aid fittings reignite her passion because patients quickly learn how important hearing and communication are, especially when they previously thought they had to accept their hearing loss and learn to live with it, all while sacrificing the ability to communicate effectively.
Dr. Vega obtained her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences before earning her Doctorate in Audiology from Pacific University in Oregon. She completed her externship at Orange County Physicians' Hearing Services, a busy ear, nose, and throat practice in southern California. Prior to attending graduate school, she worked as an audiology aide in Newport Beach, in a vestibular-heavy clinic.
Dr. Vega is fluent in Spanish and especially loves working with Spanish-speaking communities that once felt restricted by language barriers. The connections created when individuals share their native tongue is something she never takes for granted.
In her free time, Dr. Vega enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and their golden retriever. They go on walks every evening and are always looking for new trails to explore.
