About Rouminder Kaur
Dr. Rouminder Kaur joined Marshall Family Medicine in 2026. Dr. Kaur’s goal is to be a partner in her patients' journey to better health. She believes that each patient is a unique individual, and treatment plans should be tailored as such. Dr. Kaur values patient autonomy and welcomes their input in decision making. She works with her patients to achieve the best outcome possible.
Dr. Kaur’s interest lies in treating chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and the associated complications with each. She emphasizes preventative care to help avoid serious illnesses in the future. She has extensive inpatient experience, making her confident in managing any medical emergencies and/or acute complications.
Dr. Kaur attended Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee, and completed her residency at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Philadelphia. Prior to medical school, she was on a research track with the University of California at Davis and was published in the field of breast cancer. She completed a research internship with Oregon State University and was published in the field of bone health.
Dr. Kaur has two daughters, and her life revolves around them. She is an avid reader, loves to watch football, and enjoys outdoor water activities. She values spending time with family and friends but also enjoys meeting new people. She loves to travel every chance she gets.
Dr. Kaur is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
