About Sudhakar Rendla

Dr. Sudhakar Rendla is an experienced Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has 18 years of experience in Pediatrics working in various Health care settings. He has worked for 7 years at a busy pediatric practice in New Mexico before moving to Placerville and joining Marshall Pediatrics.

Dr. Rendla graduated in 1998 from Kakatiya Medical College in India and completed his Pediatric Residency training program at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY. He has also worked as Chief Resident at the same hospital for 1 yr. After finishing his residency program, Dr. Rendla has joined a Pediatric Practice with a group of 10 other providers at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM, simultaneously he held a position as an Assistant professor of Pediatrics at UNM School of Medicine, Albuquerque, NM. He has actively participated in teaching medical students and Pediatric Residents. As a result of his strong clinical skills, his devotion to patient care and his excellent reputation among his fellow pediatricians, Dr. Rendla was elected Director for Newborn services and inpatient Pediatric service at the Pediatrics Department at San Juan Regional Medical Center and served on the hospital's Peer review committee.

Dr. Rendla has received multiple honors during his Pediatric career, including best Resident and best Chief Resident awards during his training. Dr. Rendla is fluent in English as well as two other Indian languages, including Hindi and Telugu. He lives with his wife and two children in El Dorado Hills and in his spare time enjoys playing Tennis, listening to music, hiking and travelling. He practices Yoga and loves gardening.

Dr. Rendla is accepting new patients and practices in all areas of pediatrics. He has vast experience in various Pediatric procedures including newborn circumcisions.
