About Swetha Mudunuri

Swetha Mudunuri, MD, is an Internal Medicine physician caring for adult patients at Marshall Family and Internal Medicine, Cameron Park. Dr. Mudunuri received her medical degree from Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences in India and completed her medical residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mudunuri focuses on preventive medicine, including age-appropriate screening for cancer. She also has a deep interest in the control of diabetes and hypertension in her patients.

Dr. Mudunuri was inspired to become a doctor by her father, who is also a physician. While in medical school, she met and married her husband, who is also a practicing physician in Placerville. They enjoy traveling, having made a point to visit and explore many sights and attractions in the United States and Mexico.

Dr. Mudunuri enjoys completing sudoku puzzles, cooking Indian food and spending time with her husband and their son.
