Covered California Health Insurance Enrollment Help to Be Offered at Marshall Community Health Library

December 18, 2014— Marshall Community Health Library in Cameron Park is pleased to host certified Covered California enrollment counselors from El Dorado Community Health Center, beginning this month and continuing into February.

Covered California is California’s version of the health insurance exchange enabled through the Affordable Care Act. The program assists people in finding quality, affordable health insurance if their employers do not offer health insurance. Many options are available regardless of your income, and being covered by health insurance is now mandatory. Bilingual assistance is available. It can be a confusing process, and enrollment counselors can help you understand what’s available.
