New Patient Story

Anaesthesia was the only bad thing. During prop my i.v. was placed in my left hand with the tournicet on my left arm. Upon entering the room staff started the time out. The anesthesiologist started the tournicet , when it was fully inflated she started pushing the propofal. Due to the fact that the tournicet was fully inflated the propofal could not go in properly, it sat in my hand and burned like hell until they removed the tournicet. I felt so stupid at the time but upon talking to my fellow coworkers they should not have had both the i.v. and tournicet on the same arm. Other then that I was overall happy with everyone else.
