Video Visits


Using your smartphone, tablet or computer, the Marshall MyChart app brings the care team to you with convenient video visits.

You can use your smartphone or tablet to consult with your provider for:

  • Discussing symptoms
  • Pre- and post-procedure care
  • Mental health follow-ups and psychology related services
  • Diabetes management, pharmacy consultations and reconciliations
  • Oncology follow-up

Making a video visit appointment

  • Call your Marshall Medical provider’s office or message them from the Marshall MyChart app.
  • You will need a Marshall MyChart account. If you need to sign up for an account, contact your provider’s office for assistance or create your account from your computer at From your smartphone or tablet, you may also download the Marshall MyChart app from the Apple or or Google app stores. Create your user ID and password.
  • Create your account using your computer or download the Marshall MyChart app from the Apple or or Google app stores. Use the activation code to login and create your own user ID and password.
  • Your provider will schedule a video visit and an appointment will appear on your account.

How to begin your video visit

To participate, you may use a smart phone, tablet or a computer (with webcam, microphone and speakers).

If this is your first Marshall MyChart video visit and you are planning to use your smartphone or tablet, before your appointment, please download the Marshall MyChart app from the Apple or Google app stores.

On the day of your visit, expect a call from Marshall 15 minutes before your appointment. After your call, you can initiate your video visit.

To begin the video visit from your phone or tablet:

  1. Log into the Marshall MyChart app
  2. Select VISITS and then select the video visit
  3. Select TEST VIDEO
  4. If prompted, allow the app to access your camera and microphone
  5. Click the BEGIN VISIT button and wait for your provider to join

To begin the video visit from your computer:

  1. Log into
  2. Select the VISITS icon on the top of the screen
  3. Click on the appointment to open the details

  4. Click BEGIN VISIT and wait for your provider to join
  5. If prompted, allow access to your camera and microphone

Helpful tips

  • Make sure you have a strong and secure Wi-Fi connection.
  • Find a setting where you can talk freely and avoid distractions during your visit.
  • Be sure to eliminate all background noises.
  • Choose a well-lit area, so your doctor can see you. Avoid sitting in front of windows.
  • Use your camera to show your care team medications, rashes or wounds.
  • Be prepared with a list of questions to ask your care team.

Patient copays/fees may vary depending on insurance coverage. Please work with your care team and your benefits provider to determine eligibility.
