About Mark
Mark Redor, MD is no stranger to the Marshall Community. He has admitting
privileges and has taken Emergency Department calls at Marshall Hospital
for over 25 years. He recently left his private practice at Gastroenterology
Medical Clinic in Folsom and Placerville and joined Marshall Gastroenterology.
Raised in San Francisco and the son of a surgeon, Dr. Redor earned his
undergraduate degree at UC Davis. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt
University before completing his internal medicine residency at Kaiser
Foundation Hospital in San Francisco. Prior to his gastroenterology fellowship,
he served as an emergency department physician in San Francisco and then
completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Arizona
Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Redor offers treatments for a wide variety of gastrointestinal illnesses.
He has a special interest in treating diseases of the liver and bile ducts,
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), pancreatic diseases, peptic ulcer
disease and colon cancer screening. He is also proficient in performing
upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP.
Dr. Redor loves the outdoors. He enjoys skiing, golf, stand up paddle
boarding, camping and mountain biking. Dr. Redor speaks fluent French
and is married with three children.
