Lin Soe, MD, has provided care at Marshall since 1997. Originally from
Burma, Dr. Soe relocated to the United States following medical training,
including post-graduate research work, in his native country.
He then earned a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine degree
from Tulane University in Louisiana. He completed his residency in internal
medicine at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, Cornell University.
He completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at UC Davis.
Dr. Soe is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology &
Hematology. He has participated in many cancer research studies and co-authored
numerous research papers. Additionally Dr. Soe is the recipient of several
awards for his research, as well as the 2000 Marshall Medical Center Hero
in Healthcare Award.
Dr. Soe enjoys hiking, martial arts and jogging in his leisure time. He
speaks English and Burmese.
