Specialty Pharmacy

The Marshall Specialty Pharmacy supports patients with complex, chronic, and rare conditions who are prescribed specialty medications. Our goal is to work with your care team to improve your health and provide exceptional care.

Specialty medications are not available at traditional retail pharmacies because they require specific storage, careful dispensing, and close monitoring to increase effectiveness. Sometimes the medications are expensive and require assistance to be sure they’re available to you. Our specialty pharmacy services include help with all aspects of medication management.

Convenient Service

When you are prescribed a specialty medication, your provider will send your prescription directly to the specialty pharmacy. Our pharmacists will call you in advance to review your medication and explain what to expect during treatment. Your prescription will be conveniently mailed to your home.

Clinical Care

Our clinical team is here to support you from start to finish. The initial call will include dosing instructions, drug interactions, and potential side effects. We will follow up with a second call to document any challenges you may experience and provide suggestions for help.

Comprehensive Support

We know specialty medications can be expensive. We can help you manage these costs by confirming insurance coverage and contacting your insurance provider for prior authorization when necessary. We also monitor financial assistance programs you may be eligible for and help with enrollment.
